The Volvo is already worrying. Again, the Swedish brand will face a campaign of review, and once again the source of their problems is in electronics from their vehicles. The ruling, as has been reported by the newsletter alerts in the EU, is in the control module fuel pump, which may not function correctly “under certain conditions” unspecified. This results in difficulties in the ignition and engines fail to boot directly. In some cases, they could pounce soon after starting the march.
The units affected by this defect are models S80, V70, XC70 and XC60 2008-2010 equipped with T6 engine. Volvo will pay for repairs on a voluntary basis.
